Cancellation policy
Life happens, and sometimes plans change. We always do our best to find a replacement. If that's not possible, we regretfully have to charge for the cancelled stay as follows:
Normal cancellation fees:
Free cancellation up to 30 days before the scheduled arrival.
Any deposits made will be fully refunded.
Cancellation charges:
29 to 7 days before arrival: 70%
From 6 days before arrival: 90%
100% for no-show or early departure.
Alternatively, you are always welcome to reschedule your booking.

Holiday destination
Bad Goisern is the center of the Inner Salzkammergut region. Thanks to the central location of Villa Salzweg, all surrounding towns (Hallstatt, Bad Ischl, Gosau, Obertraun, St. Wolfgang), activities, and attractions can be reached by car within 15-25 minutes.
The town center of Bad Goisern with its market square, surrounding restaurants, and shops for your daily needs is an 8-minute walk away, as are the train station and bus stop.
From April to November, Bad Goisern offers many opportunities for hikers, mountain bikers, climbers, and other nature enthusiasts.
There are plenty of swimming options in the surrounding 76 Salzkammergut lakes, the cozy river bathing spot near the house (3 minutes walk), the local heated outdoor pool (10 minutes walk), or the lido on Lake Hallstatt (5 minutes by car).
In the winter months, Bad Goisern offers many opportunities for ski touring, snowshoe hiking, tobogganing, or walks in the beautiful snowy landscape.
The bus stop for the ski bus with connections to the Dachstein West ski area (Gosau, Krippenstein-Obertraun) or Loser (Altaussee) is an 8-minute walk away.
Furthermore, there are 4 thermal baths/spas that can be reached quickly by car.
The Inner Salzkammergut is well-known for its numerous traditional events throughout the year (music festivals, Krampus runs, carnival parades, Glöckler runs, beer tents, etc.), several cultural events (concerts, operettas, theater, etc.), as well as the traditionally contemplative Advent markets.
Getting there
Villa Salzweg is centrally located near the town center. It's only a 7-minute walk from the train station, and by car, we're just 3 minutes away from the town entrance (roundabout).

Host informationWe are a small family business consisting of Wilfried and Julia – the hosts, as well as Diemut (Wilfried's mother) and our house cats Filou & Gin.
Renting holiday apartments is still new territory for us, but we are very committed to ensuring that our guests feel particularly comfortable with us and can enjoy their vacation carefree, with all possible comforts. We can also draw on the many years of experience of our "Minnerl", the former house owner and landlord of Haus Edelweiß.
