In the area there is also a viewpoint with wide views of the fjord and surrounding landscape, a nice place to enjoy the sun rising or setting. Through Munkedal flows the Örekil River, which is a popular river for salmon fishing, many sport fishing enthusiasts have tried their luck over the years.
