The dunes, one of the biggest nature reserves from the Netherlands, are perfect for nature lovers. This area offers more than enough routes for walking and cycling. With a pleasant center, adjacent to the beach where you can rent sunbeds and parasols. The center provides a shopping street with several clothing- and souvenir shops. If you would like to discover the famous cheese city, “Alkmaar”, it’s only a 15-minute car drive away. Amsterdam is a 45 minute car ride from Egmond aan Zee.

Arriving via A9 Alkmaar, exit Ring Alkmaar, follow N9 to N512 direction Egmond, then direction Centrum Egmond aan Zee.
