The holiday home "Le Poirier" is the largest of three cottages in a protected, beautiful, and sunny courtyard of the 16th-century "Chateau le Colombier."
It is located in Brévands, Normandy Manche, built in "pierre du pays" and was formerly the castle's cider storage room. We have completely renovated and redecorated it, taking into account old building methods.
On the ground floor of the cottage, you will find a lovely living room, a fully equipped American kitchen, dining room, and a lounge.
The first floor comprises two bathrooms, a large one with a bathtub, shower cabin, two sinks, and a toilet, and a smaller one with a shower cabin and sink.
There are 4 bedrooms: Three with double beds of 180 x 200 cm and one with 2 single beds.
Bicycles are available for use.

The nearest town, Carentan, is 6 km away and offers a good selection of shops, supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants.
Also, visit "Le Mont St Michel" (100 km) and the Channel Islands are quickly accessible by boat.
St Mère Eglise is 15 km away, and Bayeux with its world-famous "Tapisserie" is 35 km away.
From the direction of Caen, follow Cherbourg, take the Isigny Port exit, drive through the city center and after 4 km turn right towards Les Veys and then follow Brévands (4 km) and on the left side you will find "Chateau le Colombier".
