Cancellation policy
6 Cancellation
6.1 The lessor may be forced to cancel or terminate the rental agreement due to special circumstances. Cancellation and termination must be in writing. In this case, the landlord will do his utmost to offer the tenant an alternative. If this is not satisfactory to the Tenant, the Landlord must, without any liability on the part of the Landlord, refund all amounts paid by the Tenant.
6.2.1 Cancellations and terminations must first be reported by telephone, after which you must confirm this by registered letter, enclosing the rental agreement. This letter must be addressed to Walcheren Vakanties.
6.2.2 In the event of cancellation within 24 hours of the reservation, the option right is in force (see point 5).
6.2.3 Cancellations after 24 hours and up to 3 months before the start of the rental period will be charged at 15% of the rental amount.
6.2.4 Cancellations between 3 months and one month before the start of the rental period will be charged at 50% of the rental amount.
6.2.5 Cancellations between one month and one week before the start of the rental period will be charged at 75% of the rental amount.
6.2.6 Cancellations made less than one week before the start of the rental period will be charged at 100% of the rental amount.
The administration costs will be charged at all times in the event of a cancellation.
6.3 The Lessor shall issue a cancellation invoice upon receipt of a cancellation from the Lessee, taking into account the provisions of this article. Amounts already paid shall be settled in accordance with the content of the cancellation invoice and any balance in favor of the Lessee shall be refunded.
