Holiday destination
Enjoy a good view of the Pyrenees and the "sleeping woman" mountain range from the terrace.
The house is a perfect base for hikes and visits to historic sites like the carthaginian castles.
The mediterranean sea is just 30 minutes away by car and the cities of Arles, Nimes and Perpignan about an hour.
Ideal mountain tracks for road racing or just cycling tours along the Canal du Midi channel are available. A horse riding centre can be found in the immediate area of the village entrance.
Assignan is about 4 kilometres (km) away from St. Chinian where a picturesque market opens two times per week. The village counts about 150 inhabitants and is visited by a baker´s van every morning.
Getting there
Take the train to the city of Beziers, the next airport is Montpellier. Beziers is only serviced seasonally by special airlines.

Alles war perfekt-das große Haus ist wunderschön und verzaubert sofort-liebevoll eingerichtete (zahlreiche)Zimmer,
top ausgestattete Küche,Dachterrassen mit wunderschönen
Ausblicken.
Die Abende am offenen Kamin-unvergessen.
Über das Languedoc muß man nicht viel sagen,wer hier
einmal gewesen ist,wird sich dem Charme dieser Landschaft
wohl nicht mehr entziehen können.
Fazit: Top Unterkunft in einer wunderschönen Umgebung.
Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.

Ein super schönes, gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus mit viel Platz für alle in einem ruhigen Dorf mit einer fantastischen Dachterrasse mit traumhafter Aussicht! Wenn man vor April zu Besuch ist, ist einiges noch geschlossen aber mit 4-7 Personen wird auf Anfrage vieles angeboten. Die Umgebung bietet tolle Möglichkeiten in Autoreichweite - wunderschöne Canyons zum Klettern und für großartige Klettersteigtouren, diverse Wanderwege in allen Längen und Schwierigkeitsgraden, Reitangebote, Weinverkostungen, Olivenproduktionsbesuche, das Mittelmeer und vieles mehr. Abends sind wir dann immer gerne wieder in das Ferienhaus zurück gekommen. Die große Wohnküche bietet viel Raum für gemeinsames Zusammensitzen und Kochen. Lediglich beim Duschen muss man sich gut absprechen. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen!
