Cancellation policy

If you cancel your reservation up to 14 days before your scheduled arrival date, there will be no cancellation fees, and you will not be charged. You can fly to the East Frisian Islands or visit Gödens Castle - several times a year there are country outings with culinary delicacies and a market atmosphere. For the golfers among our guests there are 3 courses in the area - Rastede, Schortens and the Golfresort Blauer Fasan in Wiesmoor.

Holiday destination

Fish restaurants directly on the harbour invite you to enjoy fresh and delicious fish dishes. The excursion boat Jantje von Dangast offers daily excursions across the Jade Bight during the summer months. It's the perfect way to explore the nearby seal banks, take in the sunset or cruise the North Sea with a barbecue dinner on board. The Jade Bight is a 20-kilometre-long river that, when the weather is good, is ideal for a canoe trip, making it a great destination for the whole family.

Getting there

On motorway 437, take the exit towards Varel. From Varel city centre, take Mühlenstraße and continue straight on to Varel Harbour (Vareler Hafen). At the end, turn right once more and you will see our holiday home.
