Holiday destination
Gut Falkenberg is located 1 km north of Schleswig, in a very secluded area. You can easily bike to Schleswig. On the vast property, our guests will find protected, natural meadows, a sustainable managed forest, romantic ponds and walking paths. Enjoy the diverse greenery, the old trees in the park, long walks in our private forest and the bathing lake within biking distance. Culture enthusiasts will find many interesting attractions in the greater area of the Schlei inlet.
Getting there
By car: A7, exit Schleswig-Schuby, turn left towards Kappeln, turn right towards Idstedt/Schliekieker, at the T-intersection, turn left towards Idstedt, behing the guest house Ruhekrug, take the 2nd driveway (Lindenallee) on the left. By train: To Schleswig, from there you can take a taxi to Gut Falkenberg, Ruhekrug 19 (behind the "Real" store). By plane: Airport Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel, then take the airport shuttle bus to Fuhlsbüttel-Neumünster. In Nemünster, you can take the train to Schleswig, then a taxi.

Diese Ferienwohnung ist ein idealer Rückzugsort für ruhesuchende Städter. Idyllisch gelegen und mit viel Grün startet man erholsam in den Tag. Ebenso wird man verwöhnt durch die lichtdurchflutete Restauration (auch für Sternengucker) dieser alten Schmiede, inklusive dem detailverliebten Innendesign. Der Ort ist einer idealer Ausgangspunkt für die vielfältigen Aktivitäten an der Schlei sowie Besuche an der Nord- und Ostsee. Die Bewohner und Eigentümer des Gutshauses sind hilfsbereit, warmherzig und aufmerksam. Wir waren so begeistert und möchten gern sofort wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für diese erholsamen Tage.

Die Alte Schmiede hat ein uriges Ambiente und liegt abseits vom Alltagslärm. Stilvoll und gemütlich ist die Einrichtung, die Menschen auf dem Gut immer sehr freundlich und absolut zuvorkommend. Die nahe und ferne Gegend einladend und extrem vielfältig. Für kleine und große Ausflüge gibt es unzählige wunderbare Erlebnismöglichkeiten. Die Schlei hat unsagbar viel an Natur zu bieten. Die Wochenmärkte waren grandios.
