Our newly renovated, comfortably furnished and dog-friendly holiday apartment with approx. 50 m² of living space, a fireplace and a spacious balcony invites you to relax and unwind. Dogs are very welcome here.
The kitchen and dining area is equipped with a well-kept fitted kitchen and has a dishwasher, stove, microwave, oven, coffee machine, toaster and kettle. There are bowls for food and water available for your pets.
From the kitchen you enter the bright living room with a sofa bed (extendable). Here you will find a dog bed as standard. In the bedroom there is a comfortable, 1.60 m wide box spring bed. The bright shower room is modernly furnished.
Optionally, we offer you the opportunity to train with your dog in our dog school, which is approx. 2 km away (www.Hundeschule-Edersee.de) or in the surrounding area during your stay.
Together we will discuss your wishes in advance by telephone or via Zoom in order to provide you with an individual training experience tailored to you and your dog(s).

The TreeTopWalk is a treetop path that leads through the treetops at an almost “dizzying” height. A highlight of the treetop path is the viewing platform at a height of 30 meters.
On the other side of the lake, the Peterskopf towers. It can be reached on foot or by funicular (dogs allowed). Once you reach the top, you have a wonderful view of the Edersee. The snack station “Zum Waldbölker” offers small dishes and drinks.
The dam wall with its shops and restaurants invites you to stroll and linger.
You and your dog can cool your feet in the newly created water play park before you take a trip across the lake with the passenger boat or a boat you rent yourself.
Our holiday apartment is located in a quiet residential area. The center with various shops and restaurants can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes. Discover the wonderful possibilities of our region, Waldeck Castle, the Edersee, the adjacent national park and the towns of Fritzlar, Bad Wildungen, Korbach and Kassel to make your stay eventful.
The offers in the area are very diverse - whether hiking, cycling, exploring the treetop path and the wildlife park, visiting the barrier wall, climbing in the climbing park, swimming in the lake - the Edersee has something to offer for everyone!
Due to its central location in Germany, our holiday apartment can be easily reached by car from all directions. The nearest train stations are in Bad Wildungen and Korbach.

The tenant is entitled to withdraw from the contract before the start of the rental period. In the event of such a withdrawal, the landlord will claim compensation. This is composed as follows:
Withdrawal until
28 days before the start of the rental period: free cancellation
27 – 21 days before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
20 – 14 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
13 days before the start of the rental period – start of the rental period: 90% of the rental price
If the tenant ends the stay prematurely, he remains obliged to pay the full rental price.
Cancellation or termination can only be made in text form. The date of receipt of the declaration by the landlord is decisive.
The tourism fee is EUR 1.00 per person (from 14 years of age) and per day (payable on site in cash).
