The area is flooded for hiking all year except July and August and cycling. From one side is the Mont Ventoux and on the other are the Dentelles de Montmirail.
Holiday destination
The house lies not far from Malaucene (1.7 kms) between Mont-Ventoux and rock chain of the Dentelles de Montmirail. Vaison la Romaine (10 kms) is famous for its Roman excavations and amphitheaters, the oldest part of the town and his big market on every Tuesday.
The " Côtes du Rhône " road with the famous places of Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Beaumes de Venise (12 kms) … and the typical villages like Le Crestet, Le Barroux, Séguret … are seeing-dignified.
Avignon (40 kms) with the pope's palace and the theater festivals, orange (40 kms) with the Roman amphitheater and his(its) internationally known opera festivals offers you culture and music.
Many possibilities in order to walk in the Dentelles de Montmirail and Mont Ventoux and also cycling.
Getting there
On the highway in the direction of Marseilles take the departure Bollène. Then follow the signposts after Vaison la Romaine. This place happen, besides, of the signposting Mt. Ventoux or Malaucène follow.
From Vaison la Romaine next on the D 938: shortly before Malaucene, at the end of Platanenallee it goes off on the right to Suzette (D 90). Of this Street 1.6 km follow along the campsite. After a very sharp right turn a left turn and then still a short just distance) follows afterwards to the left turn in the first narrow street. After 300 ms you have arrived; the first house has on the right two white halls.

Das Haus & der Garten & der Pool ,war sehr schön & groß & gemütlich & sehr sauber !! Es war ein extrem schöner Urlaub !! Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt !! Das lag auch sehr, an dem äußerst netten und freundlichen Vermieter !! Wir freuen uns sehr, wieder dahin fahren zu können .

Wir waren 10 Tage in Malaucene auf dem wunderschönen "Mas St odile"!
Mitten in der Natur liegt das schöne Anwesen von Herrn Kauffmann - er
ist ein sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter Vermieter.
Wir hatten 10 Tage schönes Wetter und waren immer draussen. Mit den
Fahrrädern ist man in 8 min in Malaucene beim Bäcker und
auf dem wunderschönen provencalischen Markt. Sehr gut hat uns der Pool
gefallen, wo wir uns täglich abkühlen konnten. Wir waren nur Erwachsene,
doch es gibt im Garten ein Schaukelgestell mit Rutsche.... Herr
Kauffmann spricht sehr gut deutsch, und weiss immer Rat.
Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt in der absoluten Ruhe.
