The Wildkogel high-altitude hiking area promises the best views of the Hohe Tauern National Park, where there is also a playground for the little ones. If you prefer a more leisurely pace, you can take the 6-person cable car up the mountain. There are other attractions in the surrounding area, such as Zell am See, Großglockner, Kitzbühel and romantic Salzburg: all of which can be reached by car within thirty minutes to a maximum of one and a half hours. In summer, the nearby bathing lake in Hollersbach and the outdoor pool in Mühlbach are great places to relax.
