Holiday destination
Our house "Brarenhof" is located in the idyllic Frisian village Oldsum with many historic houses with thatched roofs.
Outskirts, low traffic, supermarket with bakery and butcher only 3 minutes away. Bicycles can be ordered in advance and will be free delivered. The nearby wetlands are just perfect for extended walks thanks to the extensive path network.
The dyke is 1.4 km from our property.
The next bathing beach is 4 km from here in the village of Utersum and easily accessible.
Restaurant and cafés are within walking distance.
Wyk, the biggest town on Föhr, is 12 minutes from here (by car) and a lovely place for a shopping tour.
You can look forward to return to "Brarenhof" afterwards.
Everything is nearby on our island.

Am liebsten würde ich diesen Geheimtipp für mich behalten ... es ist soooo schön im Brarenhof und Frau Nickelsen eine Gastgeberin, wie man sie nur selten findet: daß die Unterkunft blitzsauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und dazu noch günstig ist, gibt's evtl. öfter. Aber die vielen kleinen Dinge, an die hier gedacht wird, von Pflastern im Badezimmerschrank bis zur Auswahl diverser Kopfkissen, einer wirklich mal gut zu nutzenden Küche bis zu stimmigen Beleuchtung, es paßt alles. Vom perfekten Service gar nicht zu reden!! Wir haben gleich wieder für's nächste Jahr gebucht.

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, die Wohnung sehr gut ausgestattet , sehr sauber, liebevoll dekoriert, gemütlich , ruhig. Drei Fernseher im Haus wurden nicht gebraucht, weil das Dorf und die Insel keine Langeweile aufkommen lässt. Mehrmals haben wir den Sonnenuntergang in Utersum gesehen. Es gibt viel zu erleben auf Föhr auch wenn es regnet. Die E-Bikes konnten wir sicher abstellen und laden. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen im Brarenhof.
