Bergen is an old artists' village. The famous group of Dutch artists "Bergense School" originated here. Nowadays, many artists still live/work in Bergen. Cultural events are organized, such as the "Kunst Tien Daagse" (October), "Holland Music Sessions," and "Jazz & Sail" (September). In the summer, a weekly art market takes place. Keukenhof: Visit Keukenhof, the most beautiful spring park in the world! In addition to over 32 hectares of flowers, the park offers 30 inspiring flower shows, 7 surprising inspiration gardens, and 100 magnificent artworks. Keukenhof is world-famous, unique, and has been the backdrop for the most beautiful photos for more than 64 years.
Holiday destination
The charming village of Bergen/Schoorl is a very popular tourist destination. It is situated in an excellent location and boasts the widest dunes in all of Europe. Beach lovers can enjoy nature, the beach, the dunes, the polder, and above all, the tranquility. The 5 km distant beach is easily accessible by bicycle. The nearby village of Bergen is famous for its trendy surroundings with many bars, cafes, restaurants, and terraces. The gastronomic offerings are broad and varied. From pancakes to Michelin-starred restaurants, there is something for everyone. The center of Schoorl is great for children, as there is a climbing garden right in the middle of the village. Moreover, the area is ideal for hiking, cycling, and horseback riding. The nearby sea invites you to swim.

Aufgrund der Lage eine sehr ruhige Ferienwohnung, in der man sich vom ersten Tag an wohlfühlt. Die Ausstattung ist außergewöhnlich gut und es ist alles auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt vorhanden. Sowohl mit dem Rad als auch zu Fuß gibt es viele Möglichkeiten, die nahliegenden Städte und die Landschaft zu erkunden. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier richtig.
