Cancellation policy
Unless otherwise agreed, the owner of the holiday property is entitled to the following flat-rate compensations:
- up to 30 days before the agreed rental start no compensation (a processing fee of 20 euros is to be paid to the agent)
- from the 29th to the 14th day before the agreed rental start 50% of the travel price
- from the 13th day before the agreed rental start or in case of no-show 90% of the travel price.
The owner of the holiday property is obliged to rent out accommodations not used to avoid losses. A successful re-letting reduces the cancellation fee. The guest is recommended to take out travel cancellation insurance for their own protection.

Holiday destination
Gorgeous paths take you through forest and dunes to the wide, naturally beautiful North Sea beach in about 25 minutes. By bike, you can reach beach pole 17 in 10 minutes.
You can start directly behind the house into the island's very well-developed bicycle network. A nature center with seals, tennis, mini-golf, a subtropical swimming pool, and a children's nature trail are within easy reach.
All the villages on the island invite you to stroll and linger. Lovely restaurants and cafes offer culinary diversity in all price ranges.
Getting there
From Den Helder with modern ferries - every half hour from 6:00 am to 9:30 pm.
Advance booking is not required, but possible. You can book tickets in advance through the operator "Teso." This can reduce waiting times at the ferry during peak periods.
Parking on Texel: since the beginning of 2017, you can purchase a parking vignette in advance at www.texelevignet.nl or on-site via the internet. The vignette is digital. You can then use all parking spaces without worry. Various options are offered.
From the ferry port on Texel, the distance to the apartment is 15 km.
There is a bus connection from the ferry port directly to the apartment.

Wir haben einen tollen Urlaub in einer sehr gepflegten und bestens ausgestatteten Wohnung verbracht. Bereits bei Ankunft roch alles ganz frisch und sauber. Kein Staub oder versteckter Schmutz, den wir erst noch entfernen müssten. TOP. Wunderbar auch, dass man den Brötchenservice vom Hotel nutzen kann, obwohl das Appartement privat vermietet wird. Auch der Kontakt zu Frau Gärtner ist ausgesprochen nett und freundlich. Wir können die Wohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen gerne einmal wieder.

Wir, zwei Freundinnen hatten einen erholsamen Urlaub. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man im Urlaub gebraucht. Unsere Radtouren und Museumsbesuche waren supergut. Auch die Planwagenfahrt ist zu empfehlen. Das Wetter hätte wärmer sein dürfen, aber wir haben das Beste daraus gemacht. Danke, danke
