There is a daily marketplace with fresh fish and vegetables in walking distance, shopping facilities, bakeries, pharmacy, bank etc., too.
The sea is perfect for surfing. You could organize a daytrip to Malta. The ferry port is about 15 min. away.
Holiday destination
Donnalucata is a very strategic location. From there you can visit Catania, Noto, Taormina, Syracuse a more in a daytrip. Nearby there are Scicli, Ragusa and Modica. The apartment is directly at the sea-promenade, only a few steps from the fine sandy beach that is perfect for long walks throughout the year. There are very mild winters in Sicily with temperatures between 15 and 18 degrees.
You don't need no air condition, because there is always a fresh breeze that the sea brings.

Die gut ausgestattete Wohnung liegt direkt am Ende der Strandpromenade - wir haben jeden Tag/Abend die Veranda mit Blick auf das Meer genossen. Auf der Promenade waren nur noch wenige Menschen unterwegs, da die Saison schon zuende war. Wir hatten den Strand fast für uns alleine - es war herrlich. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet - unsere Kinder hatten ihr eigenes Bad. Leider hatten wir nur italienisches fernsehen - es gab weder einen englischen noch einen deutschen Fernsehsender. Fabia, die Schwester des Besitzers hat uns mit kleinen Köstlichkeiten zur Begrüßung und zum Abschied verwöhnt.
