The Golden Rooster sits among some of the most beautiful and heavily forested areas in Germany.
We constantly creates new atmosphere and ambiances. Furthermore, The Goldener Hahn philosophy is a NO to hotel aseptic standardization. Every apartment, even from a same category, is different. Therefore photographs do not represent a contractual medium. The Goldener Hahn is constantly changing and we may not always be able to update photographs.

Our 3 buildings-Stammhaus, Appartementhaus and Landhaus-are connected by a corridor and are located at 72 Oberdorfstreet in the old centre of Baiersbronn.
Our pool and sauna are located in the mainbuilding, where we can also arrange a cosmetic or massage treatment for our guests.
The property also boasts a large garden with playground and playhouse.
Nearby are several restaurants, which serve breakfast and other meals. You will also find a small grocer, butcher, bakery, and a nice pub within walking distance.

From Freudenstadt you take the B 462 (direction to Baiersbronn/ Rastatt).
Baiersbronn is 5 miles from Freudenstadt.
Coming from Freudenstadt there is a gas station on the left hand side, take a right and you are on the Oberdorfstrasse.

Kathrin is the person behind the scenes, with a knowing hand, she is responsible for the detailed decoration in our house Andreas Gruber-Beck, is Kathrin's husband. He worked as an orthopaedic technician in Freudenstadt for 20 years, he is now here in the Goldener Hahn all day and is available for questions. Andreas likes to go mountainbike in the forest, so any questions you have, he is the person to ask. The region around the “Goldenrt Hahn” is ideal for biking: The holiday region offers 20 biking tours which fulfill every demand, whether for guided family tours or extreme mountain biking tours.
