Holiday destination
Brissago is a village with 2500 inhabitants, famous for its mild subtropical, healthy climate and southern flair. The Isole di Brissago (Islands of Brissago) invite for a visit of the beautiful old Italian villa surrounded by botanical gradens.
The village center is located in 2 minutes walking distance with very limited traffic as well as supermarket, bakery, restaurants and bars, marina, tennis courts and lido (beach club).
The border line to Italy is only 1.6 kilometers south of Brissago and invites to trips to Cannobio with great water sports and weekly leather goods and Italian delicatess market and restaurants, Cannero, Luino with a weekly leather and food market, Intra, Verbania and the Isole di Borromeo (Borromeo islands).
Getting there
Coming from Switzerland take highway to Bellinzona then proceed via Locarno, Ascona to Brissago.
from Italy take highway to Gravellona Toce and then proceed along lakeside drive to Brissago via Intra, Verbania, Stresa, Cannero, Cannobio.

Die Wohnung ist sehr grosszügig und gut ausgestattet.
Die Nähe zum See und die Seepromenade mit netten Restaurants hat uns sehr gefallen.
Obwohl kein Parkplatz dabei gewesen wäre,hat uns der Hausmeister einen Platz in der Tiefgarage gegeben.
Ansonsten kann man gut die öffentlichen Parplätze nutzen.
Insgesamt ein Superwochenende!

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, geschmackvoll eingrichtet und für eine Familie ideal. Die Gegend ist malerisch und das Freizeitangebot extrem vielseitig von Wassersport über Bergwanderungen mit fantastischen Ausblicken bis zu italienschen Märkten in Cannobio und Luino. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
