The Luberon landscape is hard to beat: perched villages, vineyards, orchards and well-maintained roads up into the hills that are ideal for biking and hiking. Local markets and restaurants abound. Strolling through the village at night is particularly pleasing.
The village has everything you need, including a grocery next door, two bakeries, a butcher shop, a general store, pharmacy, news agent, four restaurants and several cafés. A local market is held every Tuesday morning and there is an enormous one on Saturdays in nearby Apt. If you like to bike or hike, our house is even better as you can literally bike straight out of the gate and some of the best hiking paths in France run right past the village.
The Maison des Couleurs is easily found and readily accessible, just past the post office and down the road from the village café on the corner. Lots of free parking is available just behind the post office, after the school and next to the village pool. 50 metres from the house is a rarely used road up to Sault that is perfect for biking and there are numerous hiking trails that run through or near the village.

We bought this old village house in 2006 and completely renovated it, incorporating traditional materials as well as vintage and modern furnishings and accessories. The large living space on the ground floor opens up directly to the garden.
