Holiday destination
The property is located in Kaltenhof on the small island of Poel in the Baltic Sea in the Bay of Mecklenburg, 12 km from the port and Hanseatic city of Wismar. The guarded bathing beach and the unguarded natural beach are approx. 400 m or a 5 minute walk away. On the beach you will find a multiple restaurants, a mini golf course, and installations for children as well as a beach shop. You will find more shops and restaurants in Kirchdorf, which is 1.5 km from here. Additional leisure activities such as horse-back riding, diving or tennis are on offer in Timmendorf or Gollwitz. We recommend day trips to Wismar, Rostock or Schwerin in cooler weather.
Getting there
Take the train to Wismar, and continue your journey by bus or taxi. By car coming from Berlin: Autobahn A24 until exit Schwerin, continue on the A14 until Wismar, 15 km from Poel Hamburg: Autobahn A1 towards Lübeck, continue on the A20 until Wismar, 15 km from Poel Rostock: Autobahn A20 until Wismar, 15 km from Poel Our shuttle service using a Mercedes vehicle from the Berlin/Brandenburg area to Poel and back can be booked upon request.

Wir waren schon einige Male in der kleinen,schönen Wohnung.In diesem Jahr waren es 4 Wochen.Die Wohnung ist sehr zu empfehlen,wenn Sie als Paar Urlaub machen wollen,oder auch nur zum entspannen.Alles funktioniert und sollte es irgendwo klemmen,hat die nette Familie Sonnenberg immer ein offenes Ohr und hilft weiter.Schön das es so etwas noch gibt!Wenn man nicht zum Strand möchte,kann man es sich im Garten gut gehen lassen.Gepflegter Grill und Liegen stehen zur freien Verfügung bereit.Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Jahr,gebucht haben wir schon.
