Host's notes
Cancellation policy
The tenant may cancel the lease contract at any time. Should the tenant cancel his or her reservation 41-12 days prior to the Check-in-Date so has the owner a right of compensation amounting to 50% of the rental charge. In case of cancellation after that time period the tenant will owe a compensation amounting to 80% of the rental charge. The tenant has the right to recommend an alternative tenant. He or she has to be deemed acceptable to the owner and has to be solvent. He or she will enter the rental agreement to the conditions hereunder. Tenant and alternative tenant assume joint guarantee for the amount of the rental charge. Until further notice we accept cancellations up to 1 week free of charge before the begiining of the rental contract if it starts before 12.20.2020.

Holiday destination
Huertgenwald is a community located in a national park. The house is surrounde by vast forests inviting you to go hiking year-round. It is a 40 minute drive to the centre of Aachen (Düren 14 km/ Cologne 65 km/ Eupen 39 km). Yet,, the nearest supermarket (REWE) is only 600 meters away from the house. There is a 23 km distance to the Rursee with a size of 7,83 km² and a great deal of recreation offers.
Getting there
Autobahn A4, exit Düren. Take the B399 from Düren until the exit Hürtgenwald-Kleinhau. Turn left at the crossing to the L11 in the direction of Nideggen. After 600 m turn left to 'Am Spitzberg'.

Wir haben in dem Haus unsere Klassenfahrt (mit 9 Kindern und 2 Erwachsenen) verbracht und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Vor allem die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Kinder haben sich vor allem über die riesige Comicauswahl und den großen Garten gefreut. Gleich nebenan ist ein Alpakahof. Dort eine Wanderung zu unternehmen ist sehr zu empfehlen! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Wir waren zum dritten Mal im wunderschönen Ferienhaus und haben alles in vollen Zügen genossen. Alles ist schon vertraut gewohnt, wie immer sehr sauber alles, liebevoll hergerichtet und wir fühlen uns immer sehr wohl. 2018 gerne wieder.
