The apartment is situated in Kirn's district Kallenfels, below the castle ruins of Stein-Kallenfels. A premium hiking trail, the Soonwaldsteig, runs right past the house. You can explore more hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Excursions destination are, for example, the rock-hewn church in the 'gemstone town' Idar-Oberstein, the gemstone museum and various exhibition mines. You can also visit the landmark of Kirn, the Kyrburg with its Whisky-Museum and Rhineland-Palatinate's open-air museum in Bad Sobernheim. The Frankfurt-Hahn airport is approx. 25 km away.
Getting there
To get here, you have several options: By car via the B41 to Kirn, then on the L182 into the Hahnenbach Valley and the district Kallenfels. You can also arrive by train. And the Frankfurt-Hahn airport is approx. 25 km from your holiday destination.

Super tolles und freundliches ehe paar das über der Wohnung wohnt. Super schön eingerichtet und man bekommt alles was man braucht und die Aussicht wunderschön. Wir waren da, um unsere Familie zu besuchen und würden es immer wieder buchen! Für Kinder gibt es auch eine schöne Spiele Ecke mit Gesellschafts spielen.
