Holiday destination
The holiday home is located on the quiet Via Paolo Berra. The nearest village, Colmegna, can be reached within a 15-minute walk. Colmegna is situated directly on the water with access to a pebble beach and has a small village center reminiscent of medieval times. Along the main road, you will find a hotel restaurant and a pizzeria.
A wide selection of restaurants can be found in the town of Luino, just 3 km to the south. Here you can also choose from various supermarkets.

Wir fahren schon einige Jahre regelmäßig an den Lago Maggiore (Ost- und Westseite) und können das Rifugio il Gufo zu 100% empfehlen. Es ist das gepflegteste, liebevollste und am besten ausgestattete Ferienhaus, welches wir kennenlernen durften. Vielen Dank!

Die durchwegs positiven Bewertungen sind kein Zufall, denn im Rifugio il Gufo passt einfach alles! Die Räume sind geschmackvoll (und hochwertig) eingerichtet, der Garten ist einfach wunderbar, der Ausblick von Balkon und Terrasse traumhaft und die ruhige Lage perfekt. Auch die Freundlichkeit und Ansprechbarkeit der Vermieterin ist hervorzuheben. Jedenfalls für italienische Verhältnisse ist zudem die Anfahrt mit dem Auto völlig unproblematisch, es gibt sogar eine Garage. Der Hausprospekt mit vielen Tipps und Hinweisen war auch für uns sehr hilfreich. Da wir einige Zeit mit einem befreundeten Paar verbracht haben, erwies sich die zubuchbare Gartenlodge (mit separatem Zugang) als gute Ergänzung der Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten. Es ist also kein Wunder, dass viele Gäste wiederkommen - das werden wir bestimmt auch!
