Holiday destination
Luino, which is probably the most significant town on the Eastern side of Lake Maggiore, offers a wide spectrum of attractions, including numerous shops, restaurants, cafés, bars, the sports centre with 4 tennis courts, indoor swimming pool (approx. 25 m x 12 m), the sailing and surfing school and the yachting marina. The wonderful lake-side promenade with its huge Plane trees, and the old harbour, which dates back to the era of Napoleon, are special highlights. A romantic stroll through the narrow streets of the historic town-centre, with its Renaissance and Baroque buildings, the courtyards and leafy passageways and the numerous small and interesting shops, transport the visitor back to days of old in Lombardy.

Schöne und saubere Anlage. Die Wohnung ist auch sehr sauber und hat eine top Ausstattung. Zb. Eine Waschmaschine , toaster , Bügeleisen usw.gebucht haben wir 7 Tage, sind aber 2 tage eher abgereist. Wir fanden das der ort ausserhalb liegt und es leider nicht ganz kindgerecht ist. Es waren viele Einheimische da und auch viele ältere Menschen wo wir das gefühl hatten das wir mit unseren Kindern ( 6,4 ,2 Jahre) nicht ganz dahin passten. Die Wohnung ist eher für jemanden geeignet der viele mit dem Auto unterwegs ist und die Umgebung erkunden möchte.
