The holiday apartment is situated in the fine “Residenza Bosco Sole” ca. 5 km above Luino & Lake Maggiore in a quiet and sunny position overlooking the Val Travaglia.
This is just the place to escape from daily routine and relax, maybe swimming in the solar-heated pool which is normally open from ca. June to ca. September. Changing rooms, a shower and toilets are at your disposal.
Tennis may be played gratis on the hard court (Tartan). Mountain bikers will find that many interesting tours can be started from here. Walkers & trekking fans can explore the beautiful region on well-marked routes. For those who prefer „la dolce far niente“, we recommend relaxing hours in the private outdoor area or in the approx. 4.000 m² communal grounds.

Luino, which is probably the most significant town on the Eastern side of Lake Maggiore, offers a wide spectrum of attractions, including numerous shops, restaurants, cafés, bars, the sports centre with 4 tennis courts, indoor swimming pool (approx. 25 m x 12 m), the sailing and surfing school and the yachting marina. The wonderful lake-side promenade with its huge Plane trees, and the old harbour, which dates back to the era of Napoleon, are special highlights.
A romantic stroll through the narrow streets of the historic town-centre, with its Renaissance and Baroque buildings, the courtyards and leafy passageways and the numerous small and interesting shops, transport the visitor back to days of old in Lombardy.
