Lezzeno is a small community on the western shore of Lake Como, nestled between the towns of Nesso and Bellagio. The village stretches for nearly 7 km along the lake, thus providing access to the water; a location that makes this area particularly attractive.
Set against the backdrop of the surrounding mountains, some of which rise steeply, one feels almost transported to a Norwegian fjord landscape in this part of the Lario (the local name for Lake Como). Here you will also find the lake's only island, the historic Isola Comacina.
Sports enthusiasts will find a paradise here, as Lezzeno offers public beaches, well-maintained hiking trails by the lake and in the lush mountain landscape, a public swimming pool, and a passenger ferry.
