Holiday destination

Domburg is located right by the sea and is a lively, cozy seaside resort with plenty of terraces, restaurants, and shops. Painters like Mondriaan and Jan Toorop lived and painted in Domburg during the summer, drawn by the unique "Zeeland light." The sea and the beach are the main reasons many visit Domburg. You can swim excellently in the extremely clean sea with its beautiful surf. It is also a safe place for children to enjoy endlessly.

Getting there

The address of your holiday accommodation is Schuitvlotstraat 15a. You can collect the keys at Weststraat 24. After that, go straight ahead and at the second crossing, turn left into Dishoekstraat. This street turns into "Singel" after about 100 meters. After approximately 400 meters, the street turns right towards Aagtekerke. Here, turn left into Schuitvlotstraat. On the right side, after 100 meters, you will see a beautiful new white house. That is your holiday apartment.

Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr zentral. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Supermarkt AH), die Geschäfte im Ort sowie Strand und Dünen sind fußläufig schnell zu erreichen. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Die große Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Im TV sind die meisten deutschen Sender (u.a. ARD, ZDF, RTL, SAT1, PRO7 etc.) zu empfangen. Leider haben wir die große Terrasse mit den sehr schönen Sitzgelegenheiten, aufgrund der Jahreszeit, nicht nutzen können. Die Terrasse ist aber nicht mehr so frei einsehbar, wie auf dem Foto im Internet. Die Hecke ist inzwischen dicht gewachsen. Schön ist auch der Privatparkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Abwicklung lief reibungslos. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Das Haus ist eher klein und fein. Uns 2 Erwachsenen war es etwas zu eng mit 4 Personen. Das sehr kleine Gäste-WC verfügt über kein Abluftsystem. Die Küchenzeile war ok ausgestattet. Es gibt ein kleines TV-Gerät mit 3 deutschen Programmen. Der DVD-Spieler funktioniert nicht. Das Haus liegt direkt an einer verkehrsreichen Straße, die auch die Touristen größtenteils nutzen. Die Terrasse ist von der Straße aus gut einsehbar. Vorteilig sind die kurzen Wege zum Supermarkt, an den Strand und in die Stadt. Domburg ist eher höherpreisig. Insbesondere in Bezug auf die Restaurants. Diese liegen in der Ortsmitte direkt an der Durchfahrtstrasse und sind sehr gut besucht. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Abwicklung lief reibungslos und unkonventionell.
