Holiday destination
The comfortable holiday apartment is centrally located and in close proximity to the pedestrian zone in the holiday resort De Koog. Here you will find supermarkets, shops, bars, and restaurants. The beach and dunes are just a few minutes' walk away (approximately 300 meters), so you have everything right on your doorstep, both the tranquility of nature and the vibrant activity of the town.
Getting there
By car:
Coming from Utrecht towards Amsterdam, take the exit towards Zaanstad.
Then take the A7 towards Leeuwarden until the Den Oever exit.
From there to Den Helder, the ferry port is signposted.
On Texel:
From the ferry port, head north on Pontweg (N501). At roundabout 10, turn right and continue to follow the traffic signs to De Waal. Just before leaving Den Burg again, turn right into Waalderstraat. At the distinctive round glass building of OmnyAcc – on your left – make a sharp left onto Abbewaal. We are right at the end, until you can go no further, on the round square to the left of Gamma.

Wir waren zu fünft (2 Erwachsene 3 Kinder (6-10 Jahre) für eine Woche in dieser Wohnung, welche recht liebevoll eingerichtet ist. Alles macht einen soliden und sauberen Eindruck. Die Betten waren bequem. Zu Fuß ist man in max. 10 Minuten am Strand, das Fußgängerzönchen von De Koog ist auch um die Ecke. Lidl und Jumbo sind entweder zu Fuß oder bei größerem Einkauf mit dem Auto erreichbar. Lediglich der zur Wohnung gehörende Parkplatz ist für einen Van definitiv zu klein und auch die Wendemöglichkeit im Hof ist ziemlich eng.

Wir waren das erstemal auf Texel und haben und in dieser Wohnung sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Top-Lage, sehr gute Ausstattung was das komplette Kücheninventar betrifft. Badezimmer TOP, die Wohnung auch mit 5 Personen mal bei schlechtem Wetter nicht zu klein. Alles sehr durchdacht, uns fehlte es an nichts. Sehr zu empfehlen.
