Description
Our historic holiday home is from 1571 and was refurbished to the latest technical standard. It offers accomodation for 8 people in 4 bedrooms.
All bathrooms were remodeled , whereby we preserved the historic building stock....
Special features
During your stay, you will be the only guests in the house.
Things for your daily use like toilet paper, soap, washing-up liquid, filter bags and tea towels are at your disposal.

The ones who want to exercise, can do so with canoeing and rowing on the Moselle.
Cochem, a tourist magnet of this area, offers a huge variety of leisure activities, among others a large waterpark with outdoor and indoor swimming-pool and a long water slide.
A park with deer is in Klotten.
A 27-hole golf course is in Ediger - Eller (7 kms away).
Holiday destination
Bruttig-Fankel is situated on the lower Moselle between Cochem and Beilstein.
Our holiday home is located in the historic Brunnenstraße, the only assembled street of houses on the Moselle with half-timbered houses from the 15th to the 19th century.
The bank of the Moselle is within walking distance.
Go hiking through the vineyards to Beilstein, the "Sleeping Beauty on the Moselle", - only 2 kms away from Fankel.
Plenty of well-built bicycle paths invite for a bike ride to Cochem (7kms).
Or enjoy a boat ride on the Moselle past the many picturesque villages.
Fankel is an ideal set-out for trips to Trier dating back to Roman times, and castle Eltz, the best preserved castle in Germany.
The Benedictine abbey Maria Laach is also breathtaking.
Getting there
From the A1 take the A 61 into the direction of Koblenz. Exit Plaidt-Ochtendung into the direction of Cochem. In Treis-Karden cross the bridge to Treis. Follow the sign Bruttig-Fankel, pass Bruttig and go into the direction of Fankel (1 km). Turn into Moselstr. where the hotel "Rebstock" is situated. Opposite this hotel there is the entrance to our garden area where you can park your cars.
Of course there are many more ways to reach your destination, but by traveling this one you will enjoy the beauty of the Moselle area right from the beginning of your trip.

Host informationSince 1967, our holiday home has been owned by the family. As residents of a bigger city, we always enjoy the cosy atmosphere of the village and the old walls of our home that radiate calmness. Enjoy this special relaxation as well and be at ease!

Wir waren mit 6 Personen über ein langes Wochenende in diesem tollen Fachwerkhaus und haben uns drinnen wie auch draußen im Garten und auf der wunderschönen Terrasse sehr wohl gefühlt !! Es ist dort sehr ruhig und entspannend ! Die Eigentümerin und auch der Verwalter vor Ort ist super nett und hilfsbereit ! Immer wieder gerne !!! Sehr zu empfehlen !!!

Tolle Ausstattung, schöne Umgebung, sehr netter Kontakt zur Vermieterin und zum Verwalter . Wir empfehlen das Fachwerkhaus gerne weiter und kommen gerne noch mal wieder.
