Welcome to our beautiful farm surrounded by nature. Enjoy the unique view of the World Heritage site "Dolomites".
Our holiday apartment is simple and lovingly furnished, accommodating up to 5 people. It features a fully equipped kitchen-living room, two spacious bedrooms with panoramic views. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, and bidet. Of course, we provide you with towels, bath towels, and bed linen. Equipment for small children may also be available.
Upon request, we can provide you with fresh bread rolls and pamper you with our freshly milked cow's milk.
Looking for nature? Then you've come to the right place. Fields, forests, and mountains, all within reach! Every season has its own charm.
Whether you're into hiking, biking, skiing, cross-country skiing, or sledding... no matter which sport you choose, you can experience it all with us. Or simply relax on our lawn with a good book.
In our village, you can spend a delightful day at the family-friendly ski lift. Those looking for a challenge will find it at the nearby Kronplatz or Helm/Haunold. For cross-country skiers, there are miles of trails available.
Summer visitors can explore the mountains on the many hiking trails, from easy walks to challenging glacier climbs or rock climbing – everything is possible.
Getting there
By car:
From the north via Munich - Rosenheim - Kufstein - Innsbruck Brenner Motorway - exit Brixen/Pustertal - Pustertal Road towards Bruneck and continue to Welsberg - at the crossroads to Taisten, continue to the village center, past the Raiffeisen bank and the tourist office, follow the stream northwards, then follow the signs.
From the west via Reschen Pass - Bolzano - Brixen on the Pustertal Road towards Bruneck and continue to Welsberg. See above for further directions.
From the east via the Tauern Motorway or via the Felbertauern to Lienz and continue towards Sillian/State border over the Hochpustertal to Welsberg. See above for further directions.

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet! Auf Wunsch gibt es zum Frühstück Semmeln, Milch und Joghurt!

Wir haben in eine schönen Wohnung mit Balkon gewohnt und unsere Kinder waren meist bei den Kühen (sie durften beim Füttern, Melken ...helfen) und hatten viel Spaß mit den Kindern vom Hof. Den Hof kann ich nur weiterempfehlen für einen stressfreien, unkomplizierten und wunderschönen Urlaub. Einen tollen Urlaub kann hier jeder mit Spaß am Wandern verbringen. Dies gilt auch für Familie mit Kleinkindern, viele Wege sind Kinderwagentauglich.In Laufweite befindet sich ein sehr schönes Lokal, natürlich mit Dolomitenblick. Viel Spaß und einen schönen Urlaub.

Wir wurde gastfreundlich von der gesamten Familie Messner aufgenommen und es wüde uns nicht wundern, wenn unser Kind sich für einen landwirtschaftlichen Beruf entscheiden sollte. Mit Leidenschaft war er dabei und stellte sich sogar den Wecker, um pünklich im Stall zu sein - im Urlaub.... Es war ein toller Urlaub und lanschaftlich ist es eine gigantisch schöne Gegend - Natur pur.
Vom Bauernhof aus brachen wir zu unseren Tagesausflügen nach Venedig, Verona oder nach Innsbruck auf und es ist auf allen Strecken wegen der schönen Umgebung nie langweilig gewesen.
Wir Menschen sind so klein in den Bergen und machen doch nicht selten soooo viel kaputt, weil wir unvernünftig sind. Wir konnten genießen, entspannen - gerade nach langen Wanderungen und mit gutem Gewissen Urlaub auf dem Schmoezlhof empfehlen.
