Medemblik, about 1 km from the park, is one of the oldest cities directly on the Ijsselmeer. With 3 marinas, small alleys and shops, cozy restaurants, the Bakery Museum, a steam engine museum, and the Radboud Castle, there is something for everyone to see or explore.
You can take a museum train from Medemblik to Hoorn. The Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen is also unique.
During the main travel season, the arrival and departure day is always Friday.

The tenant can withdraw from the rental agreement in writing. If the tenant withdraws from the rental agreement without naming a substitute tenant, the following proportionate rents are to be paid as compensation, taking into account the saved expenses, provided that re-renting is not possible: Withdrawal - up to 49 days before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price - up to 35 days before the start of the rental period: 35% of the rental price - up to 21 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price - up to 14 days before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price - otherwise (later than 14 days before the start of the rental period) 100% of the rental price.
The statutory rights of withdrawal and termination remain unaffected.
