Holiday destination
Our holiday is located in a quiet location in the Main valley on the outskirts of Lohr-Steinbach near the Huttenschloss.
It is located in the Spessart natural park at the mouth of the Buchental.
Our multifaceted natural surroundings of fields, meadows and mixed forests that reach to the house have leisure activities of all types.
The sights in the area include the old town of Lohr, the castle, the Bayersturm and the local traditions museum.
You can reach the cloister church of Mariabuchen through the Buchental.
The water castle of Mespelbrunn and the wild animal park with climbing area in Heigenbrücken is worth a visit.
At the end of July there is the Spessart festival week, the fifth season of the Lohr.
Würzburg and Aschaffenburg can be reached by bus, train or car in no time.
Getting there
From Frankfurt:
A3 exit at Weibersbrunn, towards Lohr over the Main to Steinbach
From the direction of Giessen:
A66 Gelnhausen-Ost exit, continue on the B276 through the Flörsbachtal to Lohr.
There cross the Rhine to Steinbach
From the direction of Kassel:
A7 Hammelburg exit, toward Gemünden, there cross the Main, then continue to Steinbach.
From the direction of Nuremberg/Ulm:
A3 Würzburg-Rottendorf exit, through Würzburg, B27 towards Fulda via Karlstadt, there cross the main through Wiesenfeld to Steinbach.
From the direction of Stuttgart:
A81 the Würzburg Triangle, continue on the A3 toward Frankfurt. Exit at Marktheidenfeld, towards Lohr, there cross the Main to Steinbach.

Ankommen und sich wohlfühlen. Das Haus ist liebevoll gestaltet und lässt nichts vermissen. Der Garten ein Traum. Wir hielten uns an 2 Tagen im und am Haus auf, Erholung pur.
Wir machten Tagesausflüge nach Würzburg und Bad Kissingen, beide Städte sind nicht allzu weit entfernt.
Eine Schifffahrt mit dem Maintalbummler stand auch auf dem Programm.
Die Woche war leider viel zu schnell vorbei,
Familie Helfrich lernten wir leider nicht kennen, die Tochter des Hauses empfing uns sehr herzlich.
Wir wünschen der Familie Helfrich viele Feriengäste in den zwei Ferienhäusern, die Häuser sind es sowas von wert, dass sich darin viele Gäste wohlfühlen und erholen.
Bleiben Sie gesund und vielleicht kommen wir mal wieder.

Die Unterkunft war sehr, sehr schön. Die ganze Einrichtung ist sehr liebevoll ausgewählt. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl und könnte immer hier wohnen. Ein Dank an die netten Vermieter.
