Tenerifa has become a paradise for golfers. You can choose between courses with 9 or 18 holes and varying levels of difficulty and booking conditions (green fees). Please search the internet for more information.
Holiday destination
The island is a great hiking region. There are beautiful hiking routes along the coast, in the forests around Aguamansa or in the Las Cañadas. Climbing the volcano Mount Teide is a popular activity, but one can also take the cablecar to the top of the 3718 metre-high mountain. Cyclists and mountain bikers like to give their all to conquer the Teide.
Swimming in the ocean is possible year-round.
The beaches of Puerto and Bollullu as well as the towns Puerto de la Cruz and La Orotava can be reached within 10-15 minutes. Very popular: The natural seawater pools 'Lago Martianez" in Puerto de la Cruz at the promenade or the beach 'Playa Jardin'.
The Loro-Parque in Puerto de la Cruz or other beautiful parks in the south of the island are definitely worth a visit.
Getting there
The best way to get here is to fly to the "Tenerife Sur" Airport (90 km away) or, if you travel from the Spanish mainland, the "Tenerife Norte" Airport (15 km away). Take the motorway exit "La Victoria" towards "Puerto de la Cruz" and drive approx. 1 km parallel to the motorway (towards Puerto), once you see the signpost "La Palmita", make a right turn and follow the road straight down to the road by the ocean. Look for a parking space, possibly in the small parking bay with space for 4-5 passenger cars.
To get to the bungalow, walk down the stairs at "La Palmita N° 40".

Wir haben zu dritt 10 Tage im Bungalow Pamitita verbracht und waren begeistert.
Alle Bereiche waren sauber. Das Haus ist ansprechend dekoriert und komplett ausgestattet. Der Garten ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet, mit seinen verschiedenen Sitzbereichen, Terrasse, Pavillon und dem Tresen an der Außenküche. Traumhaft ist der Ausblick auf Klippen und Atlantik, den man von allen Bereichen hat. Der Pool als Mittelpunkt macht alles perfekt.
Herr Hartmann, der Verwalter, ist ein sehr angenehmer und freundlicher Ansprechpartner und telefonisch gut erreichbar.
Unser Fazit: Das Haus und das Grundstück sind ein Traum. Absolut ruhige Lage. Man hört den ganzen Tag den Ozean und wir konnten uns super erholen. Wir kommen definitiv zurück in dieses Haus. 100% zu empfehlen.
