Holiday destination
Oostkapelle is a well-known seaside resort for the whole family in Holland. The foundation Nederland-Schoon has awarded Oostkapelle several times with the prize for the most beautiful seaside resort in the Netherlands and the cleanest beach.
The holiday park Hoge Weide is only about 800 meters from the beach. It has a play meadow, sandbox, swings, and is a little paradise for children. The beach is quickly accessible on foot or by bicycle.
In Domburg (5 km), you can enjoy a lovely stroll. Middelburg, the nearest larger city, has a lot of charm and beautiful shopping opportunities. Veere is known for its beautiful marina.

Wir sind das zweite Mal in den Ferienpark "Hoge Weide" verreist, da uns Oostkapelle und Umgebung sehr gut gefallen. Das Häuschen liegt sehr ruhig, hat einen schönen Garten, und ist insgesamt toll ausgestattet (Liegen + Sonnenschirm im Garten, schöne Einrichtung im Erdgeschoss, Regendusche).
Lediglich aufgrund der noch ausstehenden Renovierungen im Obergeschoss müssen wir leider Punkte abziehen. Sobald die erfolgt sind, wird es ein 5 Sterne-Haus, was Ausstattung und Preis angeht!
Das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz für 4 Personenen, auch bei älteren Kindern (15 und 12).
Lage: Sehr ruhig, da der Park keinen Durchgangsverkehr hat. Man ist in 10 min. im Ortskern von Oostkapelle, oder am Strand. Schöne Ausflugsziele wie Domburg, Veere und Middelburg sind mit dem Fahrrad gut und zügig erreichbar.
