Located right by the sea amidst the beach, Westkapelle features a dike, dunes, a small lake/creek, and a wooded area south of the town.
A marked hiking trail circles the lake, and anglers can find their preferred spot. In the town center, there's a small beach at the spot where the dike was breached in 1944.
To the south of the town begins the long beach that stretches all the way to Vlissingen! Here, about 12 km of sandy beach unfold where you can enjoy endlessly long beach walks. Even during a hefty southwest storm, this beach route is popular.
In various beach pavilions, you can stop by for a good meal, with a fantastic view of the sea.
