A three-roomed vacation flat with view of the "Weiltal"
If you want to escape the hectic and chaotic live of the city and enjoy the calm atmosphere of the German countryside then this is the place for you!
The flat is spacious, bright and sunny.
In the first bedroom sunbeams wake you up as you lie in bed. The second bedroom has two bed, a single and a queen-sized one, which makes this cozy room very suitable as a children's bedroom.
From the dinning table in the living-room you get a nice view of the forest-filled landscape. The kitchen is big enough to cook with friends and includes another dinning table, for comfy breakfasts.
The vacation home is in the upper story of our house, we live in the souterain apartment.
The vacation home is very bright and comfortable. A LCD-TV and wifi are available.
In addition to all the necessities you can also find some board games and children's books in the vacation-home (unfortunately in German).

Just around the corner from the vacation home you will find a beautiful hessian forest (42% of Hessen is in fact forest), here you can go for nice walks, if you are interested in going for longer walks or hiking the Weill-Bicycle path is extremely suitable. The path follows the stream of both the Weil and Lahn river.
The tiny hamlet "Ernsthausen" belongs to the municipality of "Weilmünster" (3 km away) where you can find several large supermarkets and smaller bakers, as well as a butcher.
Only a short distance away is the city "Weilburg" (10 km). Bigger cities in close proximity are "Wetzlar", "Limburg" (both 30 km), "Giessen" (45 km) as well as "Frankfurt" and "Wiesbaden" (both 65 km).
Apart from half-day trips to these cities other free time activities include: Open-air museum Hessenpark, Roman settlement on the Saalburg, Mathematics Museum in Gießen, a beautiful 13th century castle in Braunfels, Renaissance palace in Weilburg, "Tierpark" (similar to Zoo, but more spacious and closer to nature) in Weilburg, Cristal caves in Kubach.
The easiest way to reach the vacation-home is by car. Ernsthausen is a very small village, because of this the bus only drives through here every hour, less on weekends.
You needn't worry about parking space- you can park right in front of the house!
Since the vacation home is situated in a cul-de-sac there is very little traffic.
