The family-run holiday house can be rented by groups, families, clubs, quoirs, student and seminar groups etc. Enjoy the fresh, clean air of the Swabian Alb.

Fire Safety: After longer safety construction works, the "Margaretenhof" is now up-to-date with the latest fire safety requirments.

Location: The holiday house is located at the edge of the village, close to a walking trail of the nature park "Obere Donau".

Activities: Marvelous walking trails invite you to go for a walk or to take a larger tour. Sky lifts and skiing trails also guarantee an exciting winter experience in Germany.

Other leisure possibilities

15 minutes away, in Albstadt-Ebingen, is the "badcap", an adventure wave pool. In summer you can go swimming in the lake in Oberdiegisheim (5 km away) or in Schömberg (15 km away).

Holiday destination

Our "Margaretenhof" is at the peak of the Swabian Alps and surrounded by unspoilt nature.

Enjoy wonderful trips to the highest mountains of the Swabian Alb like the "Schafberg" and the "Plettenberg" or the "Hörnle" which offers a view on the Black Forrest.


Daily trips: 15 km to the lake and adventure park in Schömberg, 15 km to the monastery Beuron, 30 km to the castle Hohenzollern, 30 km to Rottweil, home of the Swabian "Fastnacht" (carnival), 50 km to the lake Constance, 50 km to Tübingen.

Getting there

By car: from north - Highway A81 to Singen. Exit in Empfingen in the direction of Balingen. Up the "Lochenpass", exit in Tieringen in the direction of Hossingen.

By Train and bus: Train station Lautlingen, from there via bus to Hossingen (bad bus connections)

Familienurlaub mit Kleinkind

Wir waren 13 Personen inklusive einem 15 monate altem Kind. Das Haus ist perfekt für eine größere Gruppe. Der Gemeindschaftsraum gibt genug Platz für ein schönes zusammen sitzen und bietet mit dem etwas abgetrennten Wohnzimmer auch eine kleine Rückzugsmöglichkeit.
Die Lage ist toll, es kann direkt vom Haus aus losgewandert werden.
Etwas schade ist, dass es keinen Garten/ draußen Sitzmöglichkeit gibt.
Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Wochenende.

Wir waren mit 13 Familienmitglieder da. Zimmer und Platz hat es satt. Die Aufenthaltsräume sind geräumig und schön aufgeteilt. Es ist ein altes Haus teilweise mit mächtigen Sichtbalken, urigen Winkel und Türen und sonstigen Deteils. Wir überlegen nochmal hinzugehen.
PS: Die Hossinger Leiter ist quasi hinterm Haus. Eine imposanter Abgrund den man hinuntersteigen kann.

Wir haben mit unser Jugendgruppe ein wunderbares Wochenende im Margartenhof verbracht. Platz gab es mehr als genug (Wir wahren 10 Personen + 1Baby) und haben 2 Zimmer gar nicht gebraucht. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet eine super Ausgangslage für Wanderungen für jeden Geschmack.
Die Schlüsselübergabe mit der netten Verwalterin vor Ort war sehr unkompliziert.
Wir haben uns im Magaretenhof sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.
