Here you are in the 'Cochem-Zell holiday land' in the Calmont region with the steepest vineyard in Europe through which a spectacular climbing route leads and the kites start from here. You can discover temple and excavation sites following the traces of the Romans. Golf in the Ediger-Eller golf resort, for those who enjoy climbing you will find a high-rope garden. From our house you can hike directly along the Mosel on a peaceful cycling and hiking path. A tennis court is on site; you can go fishing in the Mosel. From our marina you can go on the lake with the steamboat or your own boat. In the neighbouring city you will find a small, nice public pool in the middle of vineyards for all people who love water; a water park in Cochem. Attractive excursions to Trier with the historic old city and the volcanic areas of the Eifel are possible. Festivities dealing with wine can be found from May to October everywhere along the Mosel.

Getting there
Coming from Cologne:
Take the Highway A 61 (Köln – Koblenz) until exit MAYEN/ MENDIG
turn left towards A 48 (Koblenz – Trier)
on the A 48 head towards Trier until exit KAISERSESCH/ COCHEM
drive through Cochem and straight over the bridge
turn right at the end of the bridge towards Senheim (16 km)
after crossing the bridge in Senheim turn right immediately into Moselweinstraße
From the airport Frankfurt Hahn:
Take the Shuttle Bus for 8,50 € to Bullay
then take a bus for around 3,00 € or a cab (12 km) to Senhals.
Other option: take a cab directly from the airport Frankfurt Hahn to the Senhalser Höfe, this might cost around 50 €.

Host informationA life long dream was fulfilled when we bought our river shore holiday house on the Mosel several years back and a little after we settled in, we immediately fell in love with the neighboring house. A couple of years later the house came up for sale, and after toying with the idea, we finally purchased the house and this marked the beginning of a new adventure and a new life journey.
Within one year we were able to restore the Alte Winzerhaus, expressing its true charm with a country house feel that sleeps up to eight people. Our original intention once we finished the restoration was to stop there and rent the Alte Winzerhaus as a short-term holiday rental, but as fate would have it, one by one, the neighboring houses came up for sale. These houses were anything but charming and inviting to begin with, but they all had potential and with passion and fantasy, along with fantastic craftsmanship the Senhalser Höfe was born.

Dies war bereits unser zweiter Besuch der Senhalser Höfe. Wieder war es wunderschön! Sehr sauber, äußerst freundliche Menschen, wunderschöne Anlage, tolle Umgebung. Wir kommen bestimmt im nächsten Jahr wieder ;)

Wir waren für 5 Tage an der Mosel und haben im Rosenhaus gewohnt. Das Haus ist toll - alles da, was man benötigt, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber., tolle Sonnenterrasse. Auch der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und man kann sich dort gut aufhalten und einen Wein trinken - eine richtige Oase. Sehr nette Gastgeber!
Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge.
