Cancellation policy
The booking can be canceled free of charge up to 120 days before departure. In the event of a later cancellation, change or no-show, we reserve the right to charge 100 percent of the tour price if no re-rental occurs. In case of a re-lease, we will refund the travel price up to the amount of the re-letting income minus € 100 processing fee. There is no entitlement to a refund upon cancellation of the holiday if it is already started.

In the clear water of Pomonte, you can not only swim, snorkel and dive, but the special location on the island brings us the best and most consistent winds in the summer, making Pomonte a paradise for windsurfers.
Holiday destination
The apartments are located directly on the sea, on the so-called "wreck beach" or "Spiaggia del Relitto". This beach is so called because in the early 70s, a cargo ship ran aground on the reef next to the beach, sank there and was never salvaged. The wreckage is now a part of the underwater world and thus the attraction of Pomonte. Because you can, "armed" only with diving goggles, swim to the wreck lying about 100m from the shore and dive into a fascinating world of silence. The blue of the sea is sun-drenched on the surface, thousands of small fish stay in the wreck and on the sandy seabed the posidonia rocks back and forth. A fascinating experience! On the wreck beach there are umbrellas and deck chairs for rent. In addition, a small beach bar. There is also a beach in Pomonte with large granite pebbles and a rocky beach. Both have a few jump rocks on which the children frolic in the summer. Pomonte is otherwise a small village, a little off the beaten track, on the southwest coast of Elba, where the sun goes down 365 days a year in the sea and is on average 2 degrees warmer than on the rest of the island ... And yet, here's everything you need on holiday: two "mom and pop shops", a bakery, a funky ice cream parlor, a butcher, bank, post office, pharmacy, pizzeria and restaurant. And a beautiful little piazza, in the middle of the village, next to the church, where you can sit on staggered stone steps like in an ancient amphitheater and watch the action in the evening. Everything is pretty idillic…
Getting there
There are several ways to get to Elba - by car, plane and ferry. La Pilla Airport is located at Marina di Campo and is 12 km from the Montecristo apartment, which takes about 20 minutes by car to Pomonte. If you arrive by car, you will land by ferry in the port of Portoferaio. The ferry departs every half hour from the mainland in Piombino; the travel time is one hour. From Portoferaio you drive by car about 45 minutes across the island to Pomonte.

Wir bewohnten die kleine Wohnung Pianosa im Erdgeschoss. Sehr schön, modern und zweckmäßig eingerichtet und vor allem wunderbar ruhig. Erwähnenswert auf jeden Fall die unmittelbare Nähe zum Meer. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt ist das sehr kleine Badezimmer, für etwas korpulente Personen wird es eng. Wir haben einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub verbracht und werden ganz sicher wiederkommen.

Die Wohnung bietet einen traumhaften Blick und ist ruhig gelegen am Ende des Dorfes. Sie ist sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Die Vermieterin steht unkompliziert mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Sehr kinderfreundlich! Der Strand ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
