Pino de Capistrano - spacious, stylish, and bright. An idyllic holiday property located in the picturesque holiday resort of San Juan de Capistrano - a garden complex situated right by the nature park and completely surrounded by greenery. 20 m to the road, 90 m to the pool, a scenic green setting along a walkway adorned with bougainvillea and hibiscus.
This 62 m² modern apartment with 2 bedrooms accommodates up to 5 people and offers a great atmosphere with its bright decor and plenty of charm on the 16 m² sunny south-facing terrace with sea views, seating area, and 2 sun loungers.
The bright and stylishly furnished apartment is situated in a quiet, very green location along a walkway, with a level 20-30 m distance to the road, allowing you to go from your car to the apartment without a single step.
The pleasant proximity to the pool, approximately 90 m (without it being visible or audible), is a nice bonus, appreciated not only by families with children.
The large pool area with a lagoon, rock island, bars/restaurants, and sea views can be enjoyed with a large towel on the lawn areas. Or you can rent sun loungers and a parasol from the resort on a daily basis - worth it if you want to spend the day there.
• Equipped with everything you need for an upscale stay:
2 air conditioners, ceiling fan, free Internet/Wi-Fi with unlimited flat rate, and a Netflix account that is already paid for by us.
2 wall-mounted flat-screen TVs with all German channels, an additional flat-screen TV in the smaller bedroom with 2 streaming services already paid for by us. Sound system in the living room, large glass shower enclosure, etc.
The windows and doors are all made of aluminum, double-glazed, and equipped with fly screens + real shutters.
There is a large American open kitchen in a U-shape with 2 refrigerators (one with a freezer compartment), dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, hand blender, coffee filter machine, Senseo pad machine, toaster, kettle, etc.
One of the two bedrooms has a double bed, the other is equipped with two single beds (each 90x200 cm). These two beds can, of course, be pushed together to form a double bed. Both bedrooms have a wardrobe and a TV. In the small bedroom with streaming Netflix and Disney+, in the master bedroom with German satellite reception (ASTRA - all common German channels and more) - here without streaming. You'll find that in the living room...
There are 2 air conditioning units - in the living room and in the main bedroom with a double bed. In the smaller bedroom, there is a ceiling fan. However, the bedrooms are oriented towards the north anyway.
You will find 4 comfortable sleeping places in good beds with separate spring mattresses, etc.
In the living room, a potential 5th person can sleep on a very quickly assembled, comfortable sofa bed.
• Due to the slight slope, the apartment is directly accessible from the sidewalk without a single step. And with the ground-level access and wide doors almost everywhere, this apartment is even feasible for some wheelchair users. At least everything is very easily accessible - also nice for 'simply stair-averse'... Luggage, groceries, etc. can thus be very easily brought into this apartment.

Our 10 holiday properties (including all apartments in Nerja) have a separate private entrance from the path (like a townhouse).

We have well-equipped kitchens in every holiday home. So, if you wish, you don't have to eat out and can comfortably cook at home. Here, many restaurants also deliver food to your home.
In addition to our always good hygiene regulations, we have taken further measures during '(Post-)Corona times' and have maintained them even after the pandemic. Why not? It's better for everything, and we have always placed value on cleanliness and hygiene from the beginning.

The pool is only about 90 m away - as mentioned, without seeing or hearing it. The pool is usually open from the Easter weekend until 31.10. You then have the pool use included in the holiday rental (with an individual pool card per residential unit). This is not a landlord service and is offered by the resort.
The beach can be reached in 3 minutes by car and the center of Nerja in 5 minutes. And by the way: The highway runs deep in the tunnel and not next to the San Juan complex. You absolutely cannot hear and/or see it from this holiday property!
Info: You can also rent both units together - then this terraced complex is called 'Paraiso de Capistrano' and we offer you both holiday apartments together as a terraced house cheaper than if you were to rent each separately. Downstairs in the studio, two guests can vacation. This is very practical if someone (with grandparents, friends, etc.) wants to vacation together, then both terrace doors (downstairs and upstairs) towards the stairs will be unlocked by us and you can then directly reach each other via the stairs from the terraces.
But as said, only then! Otherwise, each apartment is a normal holiday apartment in a terraced location and without connection - as you would otherwise know them in the San Juan de Capistrano complex...
Both holiday apartments separately do not differ particularly from other holiday apartments in the San Juan de Capistrano garden complex. In the neo-Moorish designed complex, all holiday apartments are terraced on top of each other in small blocks of houses.
Privacy: Your terrace has a normally permanently locked door with a staircase underneath to the lower level of the small holiday apartment Pinito de Capistrano next to the Andalusian boundary grille (see photos) in addition to the privacy screen. The lower white little garden gate of Pinito de Capistrano is also locked. This way, no one from below can access this staircase and of course, you cannot either.
Below, guests can crank out the awning under the small canopy, already cranked out a bit, you can see very little from above.
And in Pino de Capistrano, you also have your privacy, as the terrace is hardly visible from the outside and not at all from below. Unless you stand right at the front and lean over, which of course wouldn't be really nice or fair - this is to be avoided in the interest of the guests below ;-)

This spacious holiday apartment is located in Nerja, within the resort of San Juan de Capistrano, built adjacent to a natural park and situated above the center of Nerja. It's a 5 to 10-minute drive to the center, depending on exactly where you want to go ;-)
The holiday resort itself is at the end of a cul-de-sac and experiences little traffic – no through traffic, only vehicles entering the complex... There are often significantly more parking spaces than cars in the complex.
Picturesque – nestled within this scenic garden complex with sea views is also the beautiful large lagoon-like pool with a rock island, expansive lawns, and up to 3 restaurants/bars depending on the season (the pool is about 90 meters away from the apartment, but it is neither audible nor visible).
The resort, perched on a hill – with breathtaking sea views everywhere – is designed like a neo-Moorish small village – with the aforementioned large, lake-like pool area (rock island, small waterfalls, poolside restaurants, large sunbathing areas, separate toddler pool) and numerous tropical and Mediterranean gardens that invite you for daily walks.
The green urbanization, directly next to the natural park, is distinguished by its palm-lined avenues, gardens with subtropical and Mediterranean plants, and picturesque backdrops. Here you will find the wonderful atmosphere of a white Andalusian village, which is increasingly rare. And all this so close to the center and with good infrastructure.
The San Juan de Capistrano complex, as the highest urbanization, is almost at the peak of the small hills in the upper part of Nerja – the Capistrano area, a picturesque green and known peaceful holiday region with, in the upper part – San Juan de Capistrano – fabulous views over the Mediterranean Sea.
The picturesque historic old town and the center of Nerja are about a five-minute drive away, and the beautiful Burriana beach is about three minutes away. There is also a regular bus service from the San Juan complex to the beach and the center.
It's only a one-minute walk to the beautiful pool of San Juan de Capistrano from this apartment. On the beautiful, large lawns of the pool area, you can rent sun loungers in the summer or find a spot on the grass with your towel.
Even in the high season, there are enough parking spaces available near the holiday property. It's about a 30-meter walk to the upper road, with the direct location being along a green walkway. The apartment itself does not have its own garden, but all apartments are surrounded by many gardens and green spaces.
The nearest large supermarket and a tennis court complex with a restaurant, etc., are also only about a 2-3 minute drive from the apartment. Some holidaymakers even say that you can walk there – as well as to the beach – (although with a considerable incline on the way back). With these distances, it's usually just a matter of mentality...
The small supermarket in the picturesque complex is typically open from around Easter until about November (with large supermarkets as winter alternatives nearby) and carries all the essentials. And it's not a long walk to the next medium-sized supermarket outside the complex, nor to the bakery. In the winter, there is normally at least one restaurant open directly in the complex (in the summer, there are 3 to 4 bars/restaurants at the pool and hidden behind or below it)
This complex is never deserted; there are even many permanently occupied apartments, which reduces the number of pool users in the summer. The pool is generally used more by holidaymakers, while the resident inhabitants tend to use it less. They often still work and are only home late during the day :-)
