Holiday destination
Our apartment Westwing 79 is located in the Amelander Paradijs in the district of Buren. In just 800 meters, you can reach the wide, beautiful sandy beach in a few minutes. In the immediate vicinity, you will find a supermarket and many facilities for children. Also within walking distance is the indoor swimming pool. The Amelander Paradijs is directly connected to a bicycle route, and a bicycle rental service (about 100 m away) has an excellent selection of various bikes ready for you.
Getting there
You can easily reach the ferry terminal in Holwerd by car from all directions. If you wish to take your car to the island, we recommend making a reservation in advance at www.wpd.nl.
If you prefer to travel by train, your usual destination station will be Leeuwarden - from there, you can quickly and comfortably take a taxi to Holwerd for about 40 euros, or even more affordably by bus. The taxi ride takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic, while the bus will take around 50 minutes.
