Holiday destination
Gruissan, from ancient times a fishing village with a rich history, has developed in recent years into an important vacation center. Today, the village with its four districts presents itself in a modern guise, without neglecting the tradition.
In the vibrant harbor area, anchorage for hundreds of sailing yachts of all sizes and designs, the many stores, restaurants, bars, bistros, street artists and open-air events provide daily variety. In contrast, the old town center with its church, the "Tour Barberousse", the many small picturesque streets, the stores run by the locals and the gastronomy has still preserved its tranquility. However, this quickly turns into bustling activity on the three market days of the week.
The newly built, palm-lined promenade along the sandy beach "Plage du Grazel" connects the idyllically situated vacation home residences, which have been built in recent years, with the vibrant harbor area.
In the districts of "Les Chalets" and "Les Ayguades", the open sea and the endless sandy beaches entice with a variety of offers or simply with pure nature.
The densely wooded "La Clape" mountains, interspersed with vineyards and within walking distance, invite you to go hiking, biking, mountain biking and mountaineering. Visits to the various old wineries often lead to extensive wine tastings.

Wir haben nun schon unseren vierten Urlaub in diesem schönen Ferienhaus verbracht. In den Jahren zuvor waren wir als Familie hier, was auch immer sehr schön war.
Die Lage ist super, fußläufig zum Strand und trotzdem sehr ruhig.
Die Betreuung vor Ort ist sehr nett und alles sehr unkompliziert.
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall auch ein fünftes Mal wieder.
