Our cozy and lovingly furnished Chalet Snuffeltje is located in the chalet park "De Holle Poarte". It has a living space of approximately 430 square feet and is suitable for a maximum of 2 people and 1 baby (a baby travel cot and high chair can be provided free of charge if needed).
The living room with dining area, 2 floor-to-ceiling windows with sliding door to the terrace side is equipped with a TV, sofa, dining table with 2 chairs, and a china cabinet.
The new and well-equipped kitchen with a window features a 2-burner ceramic hob, 1 separate induction plate, a microwave with baking and pizza functions, a sink, a refrigerator with freezer compartment, a Senseo coffee machine, kettle, egg cooker, and toaster. Opposite, there is a storage room/utility room.
In the bedroom with 2 windows, there is a double bed 160 x 200, a wardrobe, and a large shelving system. The beds are made for you upon arrival.
The bathroom is equipped with a window, shower, washbasin, and toilet.
The fenced property offers plenty of privacy and features a garden with a terrace, a spherical grill, and a pergola awning, a garden table set with 4 high-back chairs including cushions, as well as two additional small terraces, allowing you to enjoy the sun at any time of day.
The chalet comes with a private parking space directly in front of the property.

Our Chalet Snuffeltje is located in Makkum at the Chaletpark "De Holle Poarte", which is situated directly on the Ijsselmeer.
Optionally, our license-free Whaly boat "Zitrönchen" with a 10 HP engine can be booked additionally at the adjacent Beach Resort.
The nearby marina "Marina Makkum", the beach and the Ijsselmeer, the reception with laundry facilities, restaurants, and the supermarket are all quickly accessible by a pleasant walk as well as by car and bicycle.
Directly in front of the chalet, there is a private parking space available. Access to the park is controlled by a barrier system.

The picturesque and idyllic Frisian town of Makkum offers a variety of shopping options for daily needs - supermarket, butcher, bakery, drugstore, fishing store, flower shop, bookstore, hairdresser, doctor, pharmacy, etc. Boutiques, fine restaurants, snack bars, and lovely cafes in the town itself and along the beach promenade complete the offerings, and there is something for every taste. Not far from the lock at the small harbor and opposite the shipyard is a very popular fish snack bar - for example, "Kibbeling" is very tasty and a must-try. Between the chalet park and the beach promenade lies the beautiful marina "Marina Makkum" and the restaurants "Beaufort" and "Thuishaven," which are very popular with us, guests, and locals alike.
Water sports enthusiasts will find a paradise in Makkum and the surrounding area (kiteboarding, sailing, surfing, catamaran, jet skiing, boating, etc.). How about, for instance, a course at the kite school "NorthWest-Kiteboarding" based in Makkum?
The towns of Sneek, Workum, Bolsward, Harlingen, Hindeloopen, and Giethoorn are also very worth seeing and simply Frisian beautiful. Amsterdam can be reached in a good hour by car via the Afsluitdijk. Or how about a trip to the island of Texel?
Drive via ARNHEM: A50 towards APELDOORN - ZWOLLE - N50 towards EMMELOORD / KAMPEN - A6 towards JOURE - A7 towards SNEEK / AMSTERDAM, then take exit No. 16 MAKKUM / WITMARSUM.

If you cancel up to 42 days before the start of the rental period, 50% of the total price will be charged.
For cancellations made later or in case of no-show, 100% of the total amount is due.
There is no compensation for early termination of the rental period.
The reasons for cancellation are not relevant. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
