Our house is located on a south-facing slope in the ski area of the car-free dream village Chamois. It is an old mountain house with an original wooden interior in the "Valetournenche style". The apartment consists of a large living/dining/sleeping/kitchen area with an adjoining bathroom. For sleeping, there are two bunk beds and a fold-out sofa bed. The bathroom has a sit-down bathtub where you can also shower, a toilet, a bidet, and a washbasin. In front of the room, there is a balcony on the south side. There is also a small garden on the south side. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, a gas stove, a small oven, and a sink.
Chamois, free from cars, has a paradisiacal, fairy-tale quality. The tranquility and proximity to nature are quite special. One quickly forgets the stress of daily life.
The chamois graze near the village. Flora and fauna are particularly diverse in this oasis.
Directly from the house, you can go on fantastic hikes, ski, or simply relax.

Nestled among the highest peaks of the Alps, in Chamois, one of Italy's loftiest municipalities, our house sits at an elevation of 18015 m on a south-facing slope. Chamois is part of the "Alpine Pearls" group, a collection of car-free and eco-friendly holiday destinations. Here, instead of car noise, you'll hear the soothing sounds of the river and the chiming of cowbells.
A short walk away, there's a general store with a wide range of products and several restaurants.
The gondola's mountain station and the chairlift's valley station are approximately 120m away as the crow flies. Our house is right next to the ski slope. You can strap on your skis right outside the door and ski down to the lift.
You can reach the large Cervinia Zermatt ski area within 30 minutes by gondola and bus.
By car to the valley of Buisson and then every half hour by cable car to Chamois. A 5-minute ride.
By train/plane to Milan and then continue with a rental car or by train and bus to Buisson.
