Holiday destination
La Lande is set in the countryside near the Voie Verte (A safe Green cycle path) which runs from Cherbourg to Mont Saint Michel on the outskirts of the little market town of Bricquebec with its historic castle famous for its visitors Queen Victoria and General Montgomery. We are 15 minutes from the safe beaches of Barneville and Carteret. Other places to visit are Bayeux , Mont St Michel and St Mere-Eglise.

Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, umgeben von einem wunderschönen Garten, Bäumen und Feldern am Ortsrand von Bricquebec. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie eine Tankstelle sind schnell erreichbar. Im Haus befinden sich neben Barn Owl noch zwei weitere von einander abgeschlossene Wohneinheiten. Davon wird eine Einheit von den Eigentümern bewohnt. Ulla und Carl Johan sind hervorragende und sehr herzliche Gastgeber. Alles ist sehr liebevoll hergerichtet und das Haus ausgezeichnet ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Ulla verwöhnte uns mit selbstgebackenen Leckereien und dank der guten Tipps der beiden haben wir wundervolle Orte kennengelernt. Auf dem Grundstück gibt es ein hübsches Spielhäuschen für Kinder mit vielen Utensilien und sogar einen Fußballplatz. Barn Owl ist perfekt für Familien und Urlaub mit Hund.
