Casa Egle is a typical Tuscan country house on a small promontory just above the cliffs of Sant'Andrea; one of the most popular seaside resorts of Elba. The house is surrounded by a large plot of land. On the sea side with some shady trees, under which you can easily pass the hot lunch time in a deck chair even in high summer. A narrow footpath right next to the house leads to the small bathing bay of Cotoncello (sand + rocks) and a wonderful path over the cliffs to the beach of Sant'Andrea. So a unique location, quiet, with sea view and very close to the water.
The house is being renovated at the moment. From the roof to the floors. An example of what it will look like when it's finished can be seen in the extension, which will be completed in 2020. See photo gallery. The floors are terracotta tiles, the roof has been well insulated and has Tuscan wooden beams and the typical terracotta cladding. Kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor are completely renewed. S. renderings. The large living room on the upper floor will also be completely renewed. The windows have been enlarged. The view of the sea is even more beautiful than before. Only the bathroom on the upper floor is the old one.
The house is divided as follows:
1st floor. ( outside staircase ) with large living room with the typical wooden beamed ceiling and terracotta floor, 1 comfortable sofa bed and 2 comfortable sofa beds. From all 3 windows you have a view of the sea and the greenery. Adjacent is the bathroom with WC and shower.
Ground floor: in the new extension there is a very spacious, beautiful bedroom with double bed . Separately accessible. The old bedroom has been replaced by the new, modern kitchen with sofa bed. Between the kitchen and the bedroom is the new bathroom with shower and toilet.
The kitchen is adjacent to the large terrace with sea view and access to the garden. There are two areas on the terrace: an open-air one next to the old oven, which has been converted into a barbecue. And a covered one where you can sit outside even in bad weather.
Ideal for a family with 3 /4 children or 2 couples! One sleeps downstairs; the other upstairs! And no one disturbs the other.

In a unique position, just above the cliffs of Sant'Andrea, 100m from Cotoncello beach and 500m from Sant'Andrea beach. Sant'Andrea is a renowned seaside resort with nice restaurants and bars on the beach, boat rentals and shopping. Both bays have a small sandy beach, but most of all wonderful, jutting bathing rocks of grippy granite. The granite sand containing quartz makes the sea bottom very bright and the water turquoise blue and crystal clear. A paradise for snorkelers and divers. Also one of the most beautiful hiking trails of Elba ends on the cliffs of Sant'Andrea. A shuttle bus connects with the provincial road further up.

Sollten Sie mit der Bahn ankommen: der Bahnhof von "Piombino Marittima" befindet sich genau gegenüber der Anlegemolen. Von Portoferraio fahren im Sommer regelmaessig Linienbusse nach Zanca, dem Ort orberhalb von Sant'Andrea. Dort nimmt man den Shuttle-Bus nach Sant'Andrea / Cotoncello.

In allen anderen Fällen gilt folgende Regelung: Die Buchung ist bis 120 Tage vor Urlaubsbeginn stornierbar und eventuell geleistete Zahlungen werden - abzüglich einer Bearbeitungsgebühr von 100 € - zurückerstattet. Bei einer späteren Stornierung behalten wir die Anzahlung ein. Es besteht kein Anspruch auf Rückerstattung der bereits erfolgten Zahlung bei Abbruch des Urlaubs.
