Holiday destination
Our apartment is located in the renowned Amelander Paradijs in the town of Buren. Buren is situated in the east on the beautiful island of Ameland, also known as the "Wadden Diamond Ameland". The town offers you shops, restaurants, and cafes. An indoor swimming pool, as well as a supermarket, are also available and within a few minutes' walk. Here, both young and old will enjoy a great bowling area and the opportunity to play mini-golf. Buren is surrounded by meadows and nature reserves and is just a few hundred meters from the extensive sandy beach.
Ameland is famous for its many beautiful cycling paths. A bicycle rental service (about 100 meters away) offers an excellent selection of various bikes for you.
Getting there
You can easily reach the ferry terminal at Holwerd by car from all directions. If you wish to take your car to the island, we recommend making a car reservation in advance at www.wpd.nl.
If you prefer to travel by train, your usual destination station is Leeuwarden - from there, you can quickly and comfortably take a taxi to Holwerd for about 40 euros, or opt for a cheaper bus ride. The taxi ride takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic, while the bus journey takes around 50 minutes.

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung in einer gepflegten Anlage. Die Wohnung liegt gut, mit Blick ins Grüne, und ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Super ist, dass ein Supermarkt mit frischen Brötchen nur ca. 300 m entfernt ist, aber auch für den Weg zum Strand muss man das Auto nicht bemühen. Wir haben hier sehr schöne und entspannte Tage verbracht!
