The area is highly suitable for cycling tours, walks, water sports, or fishing. The house, set in a rural environment, is neat and comfortably furnished. You can visit beautiful Frisian villages like St. Nicolaasga, Joure (famous for the Frisian balloon festivals), or Heerenveen. During a bicycle tour around the Tjeukemeer, you can stop by the touristy water sports village of Lemmer. You can sit on a terrace and enjoy the sight of many boats passing by. Lemmer boasts a magnificent sandy beach on the Ijsselmeer (lake) where you can play in the sand and water with the kids.
In the neighboring villages, you can go shopping or rent a bicycle/boat. A lovely apartment where you can spend your holidays.
