During the summer months, there's a cozy and maritime atmosphere. At the bridge in the center, there's a constant coming and going of many boats. This beautiful, complete holiday home with a sauna by the water is located on the edge of the village in a well-maintained recreational area. The terrace of this holiday house faces south, by the water, and comes with its own dock (15m) and a mooring place for a boat up to 8m.
Facilities:
A lovely holiday home for groups of up to 6 people who love water and everything around it. The existing fireplace, the 4-6 person sauna, and the large hammock complete the holiday feeling. From the sunny, south-facing backyard, you can jump directly into the water from your own dock; there's a swimming ladder and an outdoor shower. The water in front of the house is maintained at a depth of 1.80 meters and is in open connection with the Heegermeer and Slotermeer. A large corner sofa and comfortable chairs ensure you can watch TV in comfort (WiFi and Smart TV available). The kitchen is fully equipped, in addition to a stove, oven/microwave, coffee machine with milk frother, and dishwasher, there's a large fridge with freezer compartment at your disposal. The kitchen has a cozy oval dining table. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms, a master bedroom with a box spring bed of 180x200, a second bedroom with a box spring bed of 160x200, and the third bedroom with two single beds of 80x200, which can also be pushed together as a double bed. All bedrooms have mosquito nets. The bathroom has a double sink, toilet, separate shower, and (whirlpool) bathtub. There's parking space for 2 cars on-site. There's also a mooring place for a boat up to 8 meters in length. You can use the surfboard with a sub paddle, and for the younger generation, there's a go-kart with a trailer available. Pets and smoking are not allowed.
Surroundings.
Woudsend is a picturesque village with protected village views, located on the route of the Elfstedentocht.
This watersport village has many amenities such as a supermarket (open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm), excellent restaurants, a good snack bar, and of course, a nice pub by the water (near the bridge). All of this is within walking distance. There is also a sailing school in the village, you can see the Houtzaagmolen in action, and try organic bread sold at Molen 't Lam. For the little ones, there is a small beach at Heegermeer (within 2 km). Naturally, there are plenty of options in Woudsend and the surrounding area to rent a sailboat/sloop/bicycle, and there are many cycling paths. Last but not least, there is a tennis court (200 meters away) and some golf clubs nearby (within 15 km). And when it's ice-skating season, it's great fun to skate on the nearby ice rink or the natural skating rink right outside your door.
