Neukirch, a district of Furtwangen, is beautifully situated in the intact Black Forest nature and has the title of “state-recognized climatic health resort”. There is a wide range of leisure activities here for active holidaymakers or those seeking relaxation. Popular excursion destinations are the “German Clock Museum”, the Hexenlochmühle as an insider tip for good Black Forest cake and smoked ham, the Danube source or Furtwangen’s local mountain, the Brend with its observation tower. In addition, several hiking trails and cross-country ski trails start in Neukirch!
