Cancellation policy
In the event of a cancellation, we reserve the right to charge a cost for lost revenue:
- for cancellations up to 45 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the agreed rental price
- for cancellations from 44 to 30 days before the start of the rental period: 80% of the agreed rental price
- for cancellations from 29 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the agreed rental price
The tenant is entitled to prove that the landlord has incurred less damage. The tenant may nominate a substitute tenant who is willing to take over the existing lease agreement in their place. The landlord may object to the entry of the third party if they appear to be economically or personally unreliable. If a third party enters into the rental agreement, they and the previous tenant are jointly and severally liable to the landlord for the rent and any additional costs arising from the entry of the third party. The agency is obliged to act in good faith to re-let the accommodation if it is not taken up and must offset any savings against the cancellation fees claimed by them, amounting to €60.
If a cancellation is made for a period that has already been rebooked, in this case, the full rent will be retained and not treated according to the above scale. The deposit and cleaning fee will be refunded to the tenant.
