• Important about the location! The highway runs deep in a tunnel under the complex. Your sunny apartment is protected, idyllic, and very picturesque in the quaint garden complex of San Juan de Capistrano, right next to the nature park.
The highway is only visible from a great distance and does not affect your holiday apartment Solana at all.
The wonderful large pool landscape of the holiday resort (with rock island, waterfalls, sunbathing areas, and a separate baby pool) is only about a 3-minute walk away. It is usually open from Easter to October 31st every year. Of course, this is an offer of the San Juan de Capistrano resort, and the complex sets opening times and provides lifeguards. You can rent sun loungers and umbrellas. Access to the pool and lying on your own towel is free for you (you will find the pool card in the apartment).
A 5-minute drive to the center of Nerja and 3 minutes to the beach... in this case, the beautiful and well-known Burriana Beach.
Feel like you're in the classic movie 'To Catch a Thief' with Grace Kelly on your large terrace - only with 'more' sea over the beautiful picturesque old roofs..., with a wonderful panoramic sea view up to the center of Nerja.

"Solana de Capistrano" is the name of this beautiful holiday apartment located in the San Juan de Capistrano resort. We privately rent a total of 9 private apartments or a terraced holiday home - all in a very similar style - in this picturesque resort surrounded by a natural park.
Your holiday apartment features 3 independent satellite TVs with all German digital channels available via satellite (usually more German channels than cable TV in Germany).
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven, Senseo pad machine in addition to the regular filter coffee machine, WMF stainless steel pots, plenty of dishes, and cutlery. It has everything you often miss in an average holiday apartment... ;-) We have rented several holiday apartments in our lives and always learned from them what we like and, of course, what could be done better. We hope we have managed to implement much of it. Solana is a bit our 'deluxe apartment', you won't lack anything here, we believe...
For the off-season, there is underfloor heating in every room and various additional electric energy-saving wall heaters - used as everyone prefers... The underfloor heating is something you should treat yourself to, it doesn't consume 'the world' and is sometimes a real 'delight' in the often cold-floored Spanish apartments in the off-season. Nevertheless, there are the aforementioned additional wall-mounted energy-saving heaters. And the 3 air conditioners, which can also heat. So you won't freeze in this apartment in winter either. You can 'configure' the heating options as you like...
Following some guest suggestions last winter, there are now 2 additional winter duvets per apartment. Even in Andalusia, the nights can be cooler. We were advised that many people prefer to heat the bedrooms very little. Thank you for the constructive criticism, which we always like to implement...

The interior design of the holiday apartment and the large terrace with the small mini pool will delight you. As always, we have made sure that many Andalusian elements are preserved and yet modernity and comfort are not neglected.
You enter a cozy, approximately 30 m² large, sunny south-facing terrace and a generously sized, modern holiday apartment behind it. And all this in a very idyllic and protected location with a wonderful sea view. This 'corner' of the complex, which is built in a neo-Moorish style like a village, is particularly Arab in design and radiates a very picturesque and warm holiday atmosphere.
As mentioned, there are 3 air conditioners. But you will rarely need to turn them on, as the two bedrooms of the apartment are pleasantly cool in the summer and you can use the awning to shade the living room (south side).
Internet is available for you free of charge and unlimited via Wi-Fi directly. And with relatively fast speed for local conditions, so you can enjoy the movies over the Netflix account we have already paid for without any judder.
The mini pool (maximum 3 m², like two to three large bathtubs full) is a nice 'add-on' or 'gadget' on your terrace all year round. Either to look a little at the sparkling water or to cool off - and for the children, it is of course a delight in the season - so they don't always have to go to the big pool for splashing. So you will surely find the perfect mix for your vacation here.

Your sunny holiday apartment is nestled in a protected, idyllic, and very picturesque setting within the quaint San Juan de Capistrano complex, with the highway running deep in a tunnel beneath the complex.
The highway is only faintly visible in the far distance and does not affect our apartments, especially not this one, as it is situated right at the top in the middle of the complex. It is one of our panoramic apartments with a protected, idyllic location at the very top of the complex, on Calle Capuchinos - with good parking options.
Description of the location:
The picturesque garden complex of San Juan de Capistrano - built in the character of an Andalusian village - is located directly above the center of the coastal town of Nerja. Nerja is said to be 'one of the most beautiful seaside resorts on the Costa del Sol'.
It takes about 5 minutes to drive from the apartment to the center of Nerja (and the old town) and about 3 minutes to the beach (Burriana Beach - Playa Burriana). The well-maintained, village-like holiday resort with a beautiful rock pool is a district of Nerja and is nestled in the greenery on the hills of the natural park above the city center. From many spots, you can expect a spectacular sea view.
You will spend your vacation in a beautiful holiday oasis with palm-lined avenues, tropical as well as Mediterranean gardens, and a lake-like pool landscape.
Your holiday apartment Solana is hidden and private on the hillside and can be reached from the street in just 46 steps via stairways (which is quite few for this hillside location), which are easy and relaxing to walk, especially since the stairways are divided into smaller sections.
